Huffy Pop Star AMP Bike, Red/White, 20-InchHuffy Pop Star AMP Bike, Red/White, 20-Inch Good overall for the price, a little trouble assembingBy C. XiaoThe bike is very good, given the price. My daughter (9 years) loves it, which is just about the right size. With a little adjustment, she can certain ride it for a couple of years until she is ready for a 24inch. The assembling process was largely fine. Like other reviewers said, attaching the hand brake cable takes a little figuring out because the instruction is basically useless. You’d need to loose the screw at the wheel end so that you can extract the cable at the other end long enough to insert into the handle base. Then you need to adjust the length before you can re-tighten the screw to secure the cable in place. There was a major problem when I tried to assemble mine, which could be unique. For the most part, everything was fine, until the very last step, the left paddle. I installed the right paddle without a problem, simply twist it in with a wrench. On the other side, for some reason, the direction of the twist was reversed. Typically, you twist clock-wise to install, and counter-clock-wise to uninstall. But for the left side paddle, I later learned that you need to twist counter-clock-wise to install. Since I had just installed the right side, so I naturally presumed that I’d simply do the same. What a surprise! I almost broke my arm trying to install the damn thing until finally I was desperate enough to try the other direction, which I was so certain won’t work. It worked! It’s really beyond me why in the hell the two paddles came in like that. Oh well, maybe my case is unique, or it was supposed to be like that.See all 16 customer reviews… » read more about Huffy Pop Star AMP Bike, Red/White, 20-Inch
